I want to say "Thank You" to all our loyal customers. Without you, all this would not be possible. When Jane & I bought The Meating Place we knew that
our main focus was to provide customers with not only the Best Steaks, Chicken and Seafood anywhere, but top it all off with service that is genuine and
true. We pray that each of you know that you are truly appreciated, more than as customers, but as Friends. The Meating Place has been here a long time,
30 years now actually, and we hope that it will be here for all or our children and grand children to enjoy as a community.
I've put this community page together for a few reasons, but one is so that you can see that when you dine at The Meating Place or use our Catering
Services, you're helping to give back to the community. As many of you know by now, I love to serve, that is one reason why I ran for the State Senate in
2006, and it is my sincere desire to do so again in 2008. www.Bennett4Senate.us You know that I'll need your prayers, support, and of course, your
vote.
Other ways we give back is through the Schools, The Lions Club, The Chamber of Commerce, Advocates for Bartow's Children, Family and Children
Services, local community events, Christmas pledges, local Church's, and Shelter's to name a few.
I wish we could have done more in 2007. I'm confident that as we grow, and with the support of our customers we will be able to pledge even more
support to our community in 2008 and years to come.

As a former Jr. Journalist, it is my desire to promote children's literacy through excitement, recognition and reward. Education is
extremely important to me, and that's why I am pledging to form the Tracy Bennett Foundation. Lord willing, and with the help of
our local newspaper, The Meating Place Restaurant & I will provide a yearly contest for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders to compete in a
summer writing contest. The foundation will also work to raise funds for scholarships. As a customer of The Meating Place,
